LAST WORD
The Warmth November Leaves Behind
November reminded us that life grows warm less in its great moments than in its small corners.
In the steam of a cup of tea, in the light of a reading lamp, in a shawl laid over the shoulders, in chairs drawn up to the same table… Warmth sometimes comes not from a stove but from a table someone set with us in mind, from handiwork, from a kind word and a question about how we are.
Multiplying the light inside the home as the days grow shorter, drawing our loved ones a little closer, and looking after ourselves with the same care; that is what November taught us.
Now we carry that warmth with us as we walk towards the last month of the year. In December the lights will multiply, the tables will grow longer, and the year will slowly come to a close.
Until then, may your warm corner always stay open.
With love,
Zarif Yaşam
